Follow the wiki instead:

I would seriously consider not using flash as it is a bug filled abomination full of security holes. That is... unless you absolutely have to.

Some of the Ikea furniture planners don't work, including the one that I wanted to use. I tried some others and they worked fine.

when i load the page the flash player seems to load something (i see a loading bar with ikea logo) but then i've got just a white square (empty.).If i right click on it i can see a tipical flash player settings pop-up (useless).

Ikea probably designed and tested it for Windows only. It will not work with Debian and Ikea won't be motivated to correct it because Windows has 98% of the desktop market and everything else doesn't matter to them. Perhaps when Ikea converts everything to HTML5 it will work correctly in Linux. One can only hope.

A message appeared in the address bar telling me a plugin was blocked. I unblocked it.

I "managed" flash by allowing it
