There is one point of Iceweasel which has been briefly addressed, but not truly answered: is why having suppressed the "reduce" and "temporary discard" buttons, There is only the "close" button, and having no bar where the other programmes are reachable, that makes everything a bit clumsy when you have to go from Iceweasel to Icedove and vice versa, or other programmes.
Sure, you can press F11 and get those buttons, but that's even clumsier.

Are you using Gnome Shell? They've removed those buttons, it has nothing to do with Iceweasel. But you can restore those buttons. Google will help you.
