Other, meaning awesome.
Q: Why is the Eunux kernel so bloated?
A: It was made in the image of its founder.

Very basic and minimal openbox, with tint2, xcompmgr, volumeicon and a feh background (currently spacefun).

I use a lot of different setups but currently have MATE sitting on top of wheezy using the packages.mate-desktop.org repo. Working very well, it's just like the old days of GNOME 2.

MATE/wheezy is the new squeeze :D

Nothing fancy here; just Debian's default stable desktop environment: Gnome 2.30.2 along with its default applications like iceweasel 3.5.16 and OpenOffice.org 3.2.1 with the spacefun theme!

awesome. But only on computers that I use all the time. Computers that I use casually typically get LXDE or XFCE.

Wasn't lying. I switch all the time. I was annoyed about something on Gnome 3 and installed KDE4... :|
