Looking for a resume' database

#1 Post by mzilikazi »

My wife is a recruiter dealing with literally thousands of resume's. It's a problem grown out of control. She'd like an easy to use web based frontend to a mysql/postgresql database so that anyone (even Win users) can submit, search, categorize and otherwise manipulate said database. It would not necessarily need to be an app specifically tailored for resumes. The resume's will all be in html or text format - no pdf's! Google has so far only been able to find me lots of resume's listing PHP/mysql experience. Not exactly what I was after. Thanks for any ideas/leads.

Would DocMGR be along the lines of what you're seeking?

You probably want to read this: http://wiki.docmgr.org/index.php/Installation_Guide

If you're stuck at any point in the installation, just give us some details as to where you are and what you've done, and we can help you out.
