Other than Pidgin, Franz multi-messenger there's....

Rambox

I can't believe above clouds there're still more cloud. Explore never end after all.
Rambox support even more messengers than those 2.

^ I prefer tarsnap:

https://www.tarsnap.com/

It's paid for but worth it.

Also, please read http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=123831 and reduce the size of your screenshots, not everybody has an unlimited connection...

Im sure thats a great service if you dont mind to pay for it,
Im using Duplicity + Box (10GB free by Webdav) to backup my home settings and document files in the cloud. This solution its free and gives you the same as tarsnap if you just need up to 10Gb.

Now im going to test duplicati to see if i can replace duplicity with it, as it comes with a web interface gui.

I have given up asking this guy, have asked nicely at least a 100 times,
and it refuses to do so, I think it thinks it is funny and enjoys being obnoxious ,
so any way, it is on my ignore, and also I have the do not display images mode set,..so I can't see them, nor it's posts.
Would be nice if a mod just started removing the oversized images,... They
can not be viewed completely, as they are,so they don't really
serve any purpose. (at least on my screen).Any way I am tiered of asking over
and over, this is the last time I am going to comment on this....it does not seem
to bother any one else,...or does it ?

Opera Legacy v12.16 (Last stable version of Presto engine rendering)
http://repo.herecura.eu/pool/
ftp://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/linux/1216/

If you're looking for a Lowspec; quick, stable and workable Internet Browser, you're looking for the last version of Opera browser's engine Presto.

Im testing it, and it's the fastest browser i've tested in my laptop, we're getting into Obsolescence with the new internet browsers, I've to keep holding versions to avoid losing performance in my laptop or make use of ancient browsers/versions.

by the way, this browser (Opera Legacy v12), its the whole work legacy from Opera's company. A mature great ended application

Times like these remind me of the old adage, "Necessity is the mother of invention". Be sure it is not only you who are dissatisfied with the way mature web-browsers are going.
Debian == { > 30, 000 packages }; Debian != systemd
The worst infection of all, is a false sense of security!
It is hard to get away from CLI tools.

AppImage
http://appimage.org
The key idea of the AppImage format is one app = one file. Every AppImage contains an app and all the files the app needs to run. In other words, each AppImage has no dependencies other than what is included in the targeted base operating system(s).

You can find many interesting portable apps versions like:
Krita, Inkscape, Gimp, GoogleEarth, Encryptpad, VLC, Wire, Clementine, etc

Yes, yes, certainly full of finds there but security we find zero. Used to have a thread year ago. And I was so enthusiastic but gave up for two basic reasons:

windows-like on linux has no odds && better to avoid non-security concerns having a place on our local.
HoaS had an interesting valid explanation.

Thanks, but not worth for me.

Franz allows you to add each service many times. This makes Franz the perfect tool to manage multiple business and private accounts all at the same time. You could even use five different Facebook Messenger accounts at once, if some inexplicable reason urges you to do so.
Very nice project :D

At first I didn't see the point in Geany because I was used to editing text files in Mousepad. Then I started editing Openbox's xml files, and I started to appreciate it.
