Adobe Reader, is a great idea under snap, becouse you need this software for filling some pdf's forms, and install it is kind of difficult with wine; because you need a specific wine version and that force you to build that wine's version or install playonlinux, which force you to install hundreds of 32bits libraries packages what is a mess for a x64 system in my opinion. Anyway all of that is a huge waste of time and efforts , just to have adobe installed in linux..sunrat wrote:IMO snaps are a really bad idea on Debian, maybe slightly less so on *buntu. There's no way I would consider any of these universal self-contained package systems where a native application with anywhere near the same functionality exists even if only for the size consideration. One package I recently looked at was over 30MB whereas the native application was about 5MB.
