Wifi not working

#1 Post by Koffe »

Recently installed Linux Mint 17.3 Cinnamon 64bit Betsy Debian.

I'm having some problems with my Broadcom BCM4352 802.11ac Wifi card for my ASUS ROG G750JM, I cant find any Wifi at all.

Any ideas?

Do you have the required driver installed? https://wiki.debian.org/wl

Linux Mint may have a version "based" on Debian. There are 150 other distros "based" on Debian and we cannot be expected to know about them all.

Please ask Linux Mint Forums instead of us >>> https://forums.linuxmint.com/

Oops! Totally missed the OS!
Although since it depneds on Debian package base, the suggested wiki page may still be helpful. BUT...

Someone was spread the wrong information about LMDE = Debian
Mint and Debian are practically the same thing. Hell, Mint even has a version built on Debian. Also, why does nobody around here use Slackware?

Possibly result why LMDE lost their way here.

Assuming you have installed Debian, this is a very common question, often due to the need to install a firmware package. Here ya go!
