Problem with wifi adaptor(AP mode)

#1 Post by pedroafonso92 »

Hi, first off all sorry for my bad english,

I'm using raspbian (an "Debian derivation" for raspberrypi) and I have a Netgear WG111v3 wifi adaptor. I'm trying to use it like hostpot but I have an error like "Failed to set AP mode on wlan0".

Using the command "ifconfig" and "iw list" I get the follow:
ImageImage
I can't see AP mode in the second print but i can set up AP mode on windows. Can be because the drivers?
Thanks for the time spend with it.

This is Debian User Forums for people who use Debian, and not Debian derivations.

Please use the Raspberry Pi Forum >>> https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=66

There are about 150 derivations and we cannot deal with them all!
