use minicom for router netgear

Hi,
I've station with debian 8.6, i've download minicom for upload firmware into my netgear router who not work fine.
i want to use minicom for upload the last firmware.
1/ i've a serial cable connected to the router and my station, the parametre of serial link are ok, i've put the way of my firmware.
also the speed and control flux are saving into a default file.
2/ i do # minicom -s
3/ i cannot to display the command for upload the firmware
4/ i've the choise of ctrl+a or ctrl +z.

I can't access like yesterday enter to the commands for start upload ?

Some one know minicom or ever do it ?

... try CuteCom? (cutecom) ... but it may be too late...

hi,
is not late !
i can upload the firmware into the second flash memory
but after spook with a friend this last tell me that there are 2 memorys flash
Now how i can to swap the firmware into the primary flash memory
my system tell me there no IP adress assigned
