Honestly, this list is useless IMHO.
7zip has better Linux alternative,
im ok with peazip, I just keep 7zip just in case, becouse it works gold with wine and its a great peace of software.
Firefox is the same browser on Linux lol,
I keep Firefox in wine, in order to be recognized as a windows client. Sometimes I want to dowload the windows version, and need to be recognized as a windows client, I know this can be done with some extension or tweaks, but i didnt learn it.
Acrobat 11 ->Evince, Okular, whatever,
You've no clue here, Acrobar is the pdf editor, furthermore it has a great ocr.
Google Earth is also on Linux,
Yes, Ive it, but installation always give me some headaches, and playonlinux version allow me to have it ready (botles wines) like a plug and play console cartridge (That whats rally great about playonlinux.); Ive all the installations in just one raw file.
Picasa is being deprecieted, is replaced by Google Photos,
Picasa is a great peace of software, and there's nothing better available. I dont bother deprecated software, and i want offline applications, probably and thanks to playonlinux I will keep using Picasa in next few years...As everyone can understand many applications doesnt expire as for its final purpose.
AutoCAD is maybe only program you need inside WINE.
Its Autocad 2005, and that version works gold. You know, its playonlinux (plug and play concept), no installation after first time... You've some open source alternatives, but I always have best software installed.. Althougt there's is a clon linux alternative for Autocad in 2 Dnamed DraftSight
I also use TextAloudMP3 with TTS loquendo Voices, so I can listen web pages, pdf's , etc, or convert text to audio files. There is yet not a worthy opens source alternative for text to voice.
