Interesting, about this: mothra
H_O_A_S>>Have you ever tried mothra(1)?

It mounts webpages as part of the filesystem and displays pictures and everything
Mothra is distributed in a preliminary state; it has more
than its share of bugs. Note that mothra, like the other
Guardian Monsters, has no particular concern for humanity.
The thing of it is, there are to many "Websites" and Webpages, that I definitely
would NOT want to have as part of my file system,...

Technical point but it wouldn't be in "your" filesystem — Plan 9 pioneered the (now very trendy) "namespace" concept and each user "sees" a completely separate filesystem tree, it's actually far more secure than the Linux equivalent :)

I'm necroing this as that's the new norm it appears.

In any case, I just wanted to say that I installed Haiku OS on an old 32-bit single core laptop today and to my surprise everything works out of the box. I mean, I can browse the net, install packages, read pdf's and make documents. I'm sure that I will bugs and missing features the more I use it, but the fact that it straight up boots and works without any kind of tweaking at all is amazing.
