Motherboards (PCB?) for tablets

#1 Post by qyron »

As anyone ever tried to purchase a replacement board for a tablet?

I have a Q8H-V7 (supposedly an Allwinner A23) tablet on my hands that I would like to revive but the owner was so careful with it the person managed to bash in the buttons so hard the things snapped off the board.

Its an inexpensive tablet and there are really cheap tablets on the market but I'm always looking for something new to learn and would like to to try to put this one back into working condition.

Edit add: I have a vague idea there is a way to load a fully working Debian on these machines. Is it possible? As anyone attempt it? And successfully?
