Exactly. I said pretty much the same thing here but it seems nobody got it.RU55EL wrote:I think you have it backward. Bitcoin was developed privately in order to circumvent government and bank control of money. That is why China, India, South Korea, etc., suppress it. Bitcoin eliminates banks and Governments as a middlemen.

Gee', I should be buying my own mining farm to make money out of thin air. Why not, who needs archaic things like actual work and pay? Let's hop on to the cryptocurrency choo-choo train! /s

Bitcoin mining computers are not cheap, and don't produce very much Bitcoin. The bitcoins awarded are for providing computing power to process and store the blockchain. You are not going to get rich mining Bitcoins. If you think you are, you have been smoking something funny in your pipe.Wheelerof4te wrote:Gee', I should be buying my own mining farm to make money out of thin air. If you want to send money, or buy something without using a banking institution, you can use cash or Bitcoins. Bitcoins are easier over vast distances.
That being said, I don't use Bitcoins because I don't completely understand how they work. When it comes to money, you can't have high potential gain without high potential risk, and you shouldn't invest in something that you don't understand.

Re: (solved)Why try to push bitcoin so hard
Actually this topic was solved some time ago, the question "Why try to push bitcoin so hard", was answered, pretty simple:
Some people can make a lot of real money and gain power off it. Part of making it profitable involves "pushing" and promoting it every where.
As for the rest, it has now turned into a political , troll thread. So I am asking that a mod or admin please just close the topic.
Thank you.

Just goes to show.commie
Commie is derogatory slang for communist. You shouldn't call someone a commie unless you want to start a fight.
Again, I ask that a mod just close the topic.

Re: Why try to push bitcoin so hard
Maybe you should go check vocabulary and see if calling someone troll is offensive aswell.GarryRicketson wrote: Commie is derogatory slang for communist. You shouldn't call someone a commie unless you want to start a fight.
Double standards huh?
The topic isn't solved, the OP still has no idea how Bitcoin works.GarryRicketson wrote:Actually this topic was solved some time ago, the question "Why try to push bitcoin so hard", was answered, pretty simple:
