The story is the same all across government including the military and the same as always seen and expected after handing over power to the other side from an 8-year run.

Nobody likes to feel as if their career is threatened.

With Donald Trump in government, the orders coming from above will (obviously) not be the same....

Which means that, all the "New World Order" pawns, bent on (illegally) surveilling everyone (read and listen to Edward Snowden, for example), most probably won't be able to continue to do their work. And, if they can't do it in the public sector, with money extorted from the tax-paying citizens, they'll just do it in the private sector, where their (real) masters are.

As simple as that.

On the other hand, some of them might fear the "inspection" that they will be under, with new bosses looking at what they do - and, most importantly, have been doing... (A situation similar to cockroaches running for cover, when you turn on the light.)

I am not a fan of Trump, by a long shot, and have a very low opinion
of the "political" status the US has decided to follow ,.....But in any event
this forum really is not the place for political discussions.
Maybe the OP did not intend it to get political, but it is, and with the
"all the "New World Order" junk, well no telling where it will go from there,..

Well, I was referring to a rather abstract (or not that specific) form of politics...

(And, I most definitely reject the term "junk" to describe a movement that can be proven to exist.)

But, yes, I understand that these kind of posts may be considered political - and will, therefore, refrain from doing such (specific ones) in the future.

No I did not, I just found interesting so much talent was leaving such a huge organization. I won't lie, I'm no fan of the NSA, but that's a lot of brain power heading for the private sector. Maybe some of them can head to Twitter, lol, their server software (api's) is kinda crappy these days. I will change the title if that will help.

According to the Computer Research Association, computer science enrollment dropped 43 percent between 2003 and 2006.

Back in 2010 DARPA targeted Tween girls and minorities, an educated guess who's leaving today... Short sided people, just my opinion.
