Hi,

I am looking to get myself a slim and light notebook to carry with me while traveling. I would use it for the occasional browsing, streaming, and a few other things. I want it to run debian. (Currently I'm satisfied using a laptop with 4GB ram and a two core intel processor).

With the recently announced Samsung Chromebook Plus/Pro and Asus C302CA I thought that maybe these are suitable hardware for this. Hence my questions is twofold:

1. What has to be considered hardwarewise. Are only Intel processors advisable?
2. Since the two models I mentioned are apparently not going to be available in Europe, which comparable models are?

Best, S
