Debian 64 bit kali use to work just fine but not anymore?

Debian 64bit kali use to work just fine until yesterday when i tried to start it i got the following errors that can be seen in the picture and the errors started blinking and kali just would not start. I am on VMware workstation 12 if that helps.
I always get the errors about the failed cpu policy but im not sure about the others. How can I get it to work properly again?
