How do you structure your ${HOME}?

#1 Post by nnm »

How do folks organize their home directory? The XDG defaults of capital letters and directories starting with the same letters (eg. Downloads/Documents) is insanity.
In the past I used to simply reconfigure xdg-user-dirs to use lowercase names. Now my latest attempt is to somewhat reproduce the heir in the home directory with ~/var/tmp for downloads.

You're not the only one to lowercase the XDG dirs... that is, the ones I don't just remove.
