as you can see from my signature, i run more than one os on 2 of my systems.
i shared my dropbox folder on the ntfs partition of both. as of 7 november this will no longer be possible.
how will you be reacting to this?
for me, at the moment it looks like i will be going with megasync or onedrive

windows on a ntfs (maybe even exfat) drivedilberts_left_nut wrote:How so?milomak wrote:as of 7 november this will no longer be possible.
linux on a ext4 drive
macos on a apfs/hfs+ drive
i suppose one could try and symlink from linux or macos to the ntfs drive, but it seems to me that may cause problems

Re: dropbox and multios
go for MEGA, I have it since 4 years ago or so, and It works great, very stable in linux, It gives you 50GB for free, It supports now versioning I think, and for sure ntfs filesystem... By the way you can have two accounts (50+50=100Gb) installed in same IP with different accounts (please dont tell anyone ).. Ive two accounts cos with 50G wasnt enought..milomak wrote:as you can see from my signature, i run more than one os on 2 of my systems.
