So... I broke it

Postby Mkyy244 » 2019-02-03 15:14

Just a normal day on deepin 15.9.1, config some repositories. But, when I reboot, screen shows

"Root: Recovery jornal
Root: clean, n/n files, n/n blocks"

Tryed to:
Enter Recovery mode and;
Repair broken packages;
Check all files systems;
I can't even go to shell, show this:
"Cannot open access to console, the root account os locked."

I have some importants archives, someone can help me get those ? I not even want to save that distro.

Boot with any Live USB of Linux or "recovery system" and recover your files. If you do a reinstall, you could leave a little bit free so you can install an second emergency Linux system there so you don't need the USB.
The MX Linux repositories: Backports galore! If we don't have something, just ask and we'll try--we like challenges. New packages: Flightgear 2018.2.2, 4..20.6 kernel, wine-staging 4.0 final, Sayonara 1.1.1, Calibre 3.39.1, Pale Moon 28.3.1

And remember to back up your "importants archives" next time. Never trust data to be safe in just one single place. Any drive can die at any time.
“ computer users can be divided into 2 categories:
Those who have lost data
...and those who have not lost data YET ”
Remember to BACKUP!
