I almost always suspend to RAM. Usually only reboot after kernel upgrades.

One of my laptops has 187 days of uptime, the other only has 11 since I had to shut it down to install a bluetooth module. My desktop was around 300 days before I moved a couple weeks ago.... Rebooting is a waste of time :)
Desktop - 3.2GHz core2 quad
Laptop - 2.4GHz core2 duo ancient macbook

Server and workstation (both are laptops, one is run headless) run 24/7. I generally tweak needrestart's quidance a bit; if needrestart shows services that should be restarted but are deselected in the UI I generally reboot the machine. If it tells me there are DE processes with stale binaries I'll generally bounce the machine rather than just logging off.

Running Sid that means I generally reboot daily :mrgreen:
