What programs in the Debian repository allow me to verify that my CD or DVD burned properly?
I'm using antiX Linux, which is compatible with the Debian repository. The GnomeBaker software that comes standard in antiX Linux doesn't offer verification.
At the moment, I'm using Puppy Linux as my backup distro for this purpose. The iso2cd program is great for burning ISOs (including Linux distros) to CD. Puppy Linux also comes standard with PBurn, which I use for burning anything else to CD or DVD.

If you have already written the cd, you can use md5sum/sha1sum with -c to verify the contents later on.

Re: Verifying burned CDs/DVDs
Since this is not really a "Debian" question, I have moved it to offtopic where all other distros can be discussed.
