Re: What does your non-Debian desktop look like?
Compiled syncterm and have been having some retro-fun visiting BBS's
I've also coded a ncurses tui interface with similar look/feel to mc. Have that running under tilda with F1 set to show/hide that tui.
Where clicking a menu option opens up another tilda tab with that action/program loaded into that tab.
Press F1 and the tui slides away like in Quake, to reveal the gui desktop. Why stick to just tui or gui when you can have both

This is Devuan running Openbox. I'm using openrc to push Systemd aside. Tint2 is vertical and transparent. The clock on the right is by Conky. It is all done as a VM using Gnome Boxes.

Lmao ... couldn't resist doing this post. Though honestly don't currently have anything non-Debian. Wouldn't post a pic of those installs gui's either, so plain jane and bland gonna have to get some counseling if I look at them too long. Ah ... considering setting up conky or something but why ? Anything it could tell me, in terminal will display easier/more. Plus I just don't care what my "desktop" looks like, as who spends any amount of time even looking at it ? Spend 99.7% of time while using a pc, looking at a web browser or other app anyway.
Sorry folks, ah ... really just wanted to post the junk @ first part of this nonsense. Bunch of you have good looking desktops fellows.

Also I keep wanting to setup a Bsd install, then I would have a non-Debian desktop to show. But Head_on_a_stick won't show me how.
