What does your non-Debian desktop look like?
Re: What does your non-Debian desktop look like?
Chevy, don't you have at least 3 more non-Debian distros on your vm? Cough up the screenshots, man.
I wish for a conjugal visit and world peace. (Don't want to seem selfish.)

Ride the lightening? Ok.
Two goodies first of all:
refracta when refracta was simply a CD by Dean
Bro.Tiag OzOs pre-alpha
Ubuntu-based. Don't search, it is gone (me thinks it was by tech4masters, or similar)
I can go on with this forever: 2x50 live-CDs (about 20 are refracta or self-made, but still).

Re: What does your non-Debian desktop look like?
Yeah, i am awesome.
Thanks.
Shall i send you the link? Tell you about the engine?
If Soad would do what it says (being on a diet), i could have added the following shot before. But it took 15 minutes to boot (boohh!)
So here it is:
It sucks big times, but it comes with 6 or 7 wm's (e17, e16, windowmaker, icewm...)
Thanks.

Re: What does your non-Debian desktop look like?
It's not a theme it's a window manager. Depending on ones view, it's either WindowMaker, wmaker or GNUStep.traveler wrote:I don't know.stoffepojken wrote:Thank you. Now I can see the screenshot. What theme is that?traveler wrote:Just helping nadir out...

Re: What does your non-Debian desktop look like?
WindowMaker has themes. Here's one called "Look at my butt". I'd post a larger pic if they had one.Bro.Tiag wrote: It's not a theme it's a window manager. Depending on ones view, it's either WindowMaker, wmaker or GNUStep.

Edit: Cleaned up format of post.http://www.windowmaker.info/faq.php?chapter=6
6.1 What exactly are themes?
Themes are a great aspect of Window Maker allowing a user to simply save the entire 'look' of their desktop in an archive to distribute freely among friends, fellow users and/or the whole net in general.
See the theme-HOWTO at http://largo.windowmaker.org/themes/themepacks.php for an in-depth walk-through on making a Theme archive.
