AKB48 Japanese idol girl group.

No, they have no any connection with Yuki Kajiura or any girls from Kalafina band.

Just Keiko defeats all of those 48 any time with her bass vocal :)

I'm working on a more Debian themed colour variation of the Greybird
theme. I quite like that one, since it gives a unified look for traditional
desktops for all those who don't want the new Gnome applications to
look out of place. However, the main gray colour is just a bit depressing.

Here's a preview of the GTK2 theme.

I'm using Icewm with a modified/customised theme.
The GTK theme is 'xfce stellar'.

I'm in the process of changing a bunch of stuff around, but here we go:

Dirty:

Clean:

Panel: XFCE4
Music Player / Editor: SoX
Browser: Chromium
Text Editor: VIM
Image Editor: GIMP
WM: Openbox
Calculator: Qalculate
Shell: ZSH
Terminal: Konsole
  • Background Color: #400000
  • Font: Source Code Pro, Regular, 11pt
The image I'm editing is an acrylic painting I made, cropped with a gradient border added. The Openbox theme is custom. The background is a photograph from the net that I modified and to which I applied a "cubism" effect. I can't find the original work.

Not trying to be "mean" ,just trying to help show you a better way it is a nice screen shot.

Edit: I resized it.

Edited:
How ever on this, what needs to be done, is first create a "thumb nail" at "imgur.com",
So that a smaller image is displayed. Then if the thumb nail is "clicked" people can see the full image.
Yout image link will look some thing like this:

Code: Select all

[url=http://i.imgur.com/DT1niwX.png][img]http://i.imgur.com/Thumb-nail-image-DT1niwX.png[/img] [/url]

I did it that way because with the \[img\] tag the screenshot doesn't seem to fit the page properly, and some of it gets hidden. And today I didn't feel like going through the extra effort to make a thumbnail for it, so I just posted a direct link. I guess that means that people are less likely to look at the screenshot, but I decided to accept that.

Anyway, thanks for the URL tag advice, I'll probably do it that way whenever I next post a screenshot.

No problem, and I know what you mean, sometimes I don't feel like taking the time to do that myself,
I guess that means that people are less likely to look at the screenshot, but I decided to accept that.
Well at least with it being "imgur" most every body is familiar with that site, so the are more likely to look at it.
Any way, no big deal, it takes a little "practice",if you do have any questions, I can try to explain more , but better in the "how to" topic/thread.
Nice desktop, though.
