What does your desktop look like?
Righhhhht
Screenshot of Debian/Etch Fluxbox desktop
Fluxbox 1.0rc3 + xcompmgr - shadow & transparency worked very well. I used xcompmgr from source tarball.
See Fluxbox + transparency wiki.

Thank you. I put a lot of work and effort into it. Now you know why I get all of the girls. I put just as much effort into getting them as I did into this desktop. Hey, wait a minute. That explains why I don't get the girls. Hmmm... Effort, huh? Interesting concept.Scotti wrote:LoL, ummm.... I like it? Clean, simple... to the point. Yes.Fluenza wrote:My current BlackBox desktop. It's nothing fancy, but I like it.
Yeah, thanks for the kind words. I disabled the BlacKBox taskbar because it's not very functional in my opinion and it's a bit ugly. I was going to put gkrellm in the slit, but it really uses up too much precious screen real estate. So I settled for what I showed in the link above. It's clean and functional. Right, middle and left clicks give me everything I need on a desktop. What more could a Debian user want?

I don't go for cool, Thamarok. I go for functionality. I want something that works and leaves me plenty of CPU cycles to play with. If I wanted to waste CPU cycles on eye candy, I could probably come up with something. So where's your uber cool desktop?
