Your's not bad Burnside. Is that xfce4 desktop? Sorta like an OS X style.
How do you make it small like you guys and can click to get bigger size?
Thnx.

Yeah, it's XFCE 4.4 RC1. I got hooked on OSX at work. I like it's functionality, but I don't like how many resoucres is consumes... apt-get install skippy and a half hour of work later... voila!
My thumbnails are from

That's pretty good; with gkrellm and a few other things even really minimalistic WMs can look cool
On my desktop I've also changed the colour scheme dramatically (everything's blue, selected items are bright green, etc.) and that small panel in the corner is not always on top, so I have it raise whenever I move over that corner.

Thnx for the compliments. I think I'll try that skippy look for more of an OSX style. I'll play around with some different schemes also.

I've changed colour schemes because the transparency effect I had on was taking up way too much in terms of RAM.

wow! I am always amazed by the way that Debian/Linux can be customized! all these desktops are great! I have Gnome installed too-but don't use it much and had Xfce4 too but removed it as I am just happy with KDE (for now!)
Screenshots should be a permanent thread in the forums!
Burnside your background is really stunning can you post a link to it?

Perhaps a mod might want to sticky this thread.

Very nice Hellfire[bg]. Dark and vaguly creepy works well with Fluxbox I think.
I was playing around last night and ended up with this:
edit: image removed because host was spamming the board. Jerks.

These are good. Is there a repository of up to date fluxbox themes? The ones I've been to are mostly three years old.
