If it doesn't relate to Debian, but you still want to share it, please do it here

Yes, you are absolute right. Also, it is very stable and lightweight. On cold startup, with default configuration, it uses only 200 mb. of RAM (x64 bit. machine).

Ahh yes, the good ol' days. It was great, until it turned in to a huge ball of snoop, complete with processes you couldn't shut off without bringing the whole DE down (reminds of a certain proprietary DE). Isn't KDE systemd's b1+c# now too? How sad. :(

I've been using Xfce and MATE (in order of preference) ever since.

It is just your opinion. But haters gonna hate, are they? Personally, i think that fanboys is a threat to free software. By being irrational they harm everyone. They use emotions for something which should not have emotions. They make it difficult to work in free software. In fact it’s not a problem specific to free software, but can be observed overall in IT.

Well, Actually we can not see such police cars every day on the street but not missing here and there on any corner.
Of course decorations are very different seen on Cars, Train, Airplane, Walls etc...

This is Debian wheezy, with OpenBox,...and 2 VirtualBox VMs running,
"links" text browser, no images,.....How ever I can't see the point in looking
at this thread if one can not see the images,...since that is what it is for.
Image
However, on this I am not sure, that it would be considered a "Debian Desktop" or
"Fire Fox" Browser,...when using Fire Fox, the "desktop" becomes the browser,..
or is it the other way around,...the browser becomes the Desktop,.. ?

When I am online, and browsing, especially viewing lots of images, I use the browser in "full screen",...no WM or DE visible,...
