help with usb wifi

#1 Post by 1885 »

I am frustrated installing wifi on my laptop so until I can get the firmware to work I'm going to purchase a usb device and use that .

I'm running amd64 Debain 7.6 on a Lenovo y50 (I've posted).

Throw me a bone on a USB Wireless stick that works with this distro.

Thank You
cwc

I got the kernel update dated and the firmware installed. Now I can scan wap's. I'm working on connecting to a wap now.
I run an open wap with mac filter.
