Weird issue with headphones

#1 Post by picassopolo »

So I recently installed Debian on my Asus notebook and I have an issue when connecting headphones in my jack port. Everything works fine if I use the buid-in speakers but when I connect my headphones, It cuts all sound. The only way I found to make them work is to close the lid of my laptop and wait until the computer snooze and the sounds start to work when i reopen the lid but it's not the best workaround... So if anyone have any idea of the problem I'm currently having, let me know! Thanks in advance!

I am not familiar with sound driver in debian, but I found:
https://wiki.debian.org/Sound
I hope the above helps you.
