Setting up HP wireless printer

Hi all, just got LXDE 9 net install installed on a Compaq Presario on an SD card.
I have been looking around for a fix so I can use the HP Deskjet 3051A.
I found HPLIP, would this be what I need. I need some help. Thanks, Jim
