Seahorse - Importing Tor's PGP Key

#1 Post by TastyWithPasta »

Hi folks,

I have been stuck on this issue for hours now.
After downloading the key (edit-wording: signature), seahorse will not import it. Here is the error message:

Any pointers or things I might have overlooked?
-I tried downloading the key again.
-I compared the filenames and checked the key was for the right version of the software.
-I tried placing both the key and the archive in the same folder.

It's that asc on the end of the file. I have the same file ending in tar.xz. Try sourcing from here.

My bad, I was confused and imported a signature expecting a public key. Silly me, sorry about that.
I am having another problem now related to subkeys not being detected, but I think another thread would be more appropriate.
