You didn't actually expect anyone to take that sucker bet, did you?

You badly underestimate the depth of the OP's "Technological
Münchausen Syndrome." In the interval between the first suggestion to reinstall and the last post where he was known not have NOT reinstalled, elapsed time is roughly four days (as of this posting). He could have easily done
over 100 fresh installs. (Not hyperbole; do the math.)
He's opened
two identical threads on the exact same topic, though he blamed his "disability" for his mysterious failure to provide a dump of his
sources.list in the second thread.
After GarryR, arochester, and Wheelerof4te had all affirmed that Debian can inded be installed from a USB stick, the only response from the OP was to post Yet Another Version of his
sources.list.
After four days of deliberate inactivity, there can be no doubt. His conduct is willful and obstinate. It is not accidental, and it is not because he's "disabled."
I hate to say "I told you so," but
I told you so.
The only thing worse than a help vampire is someone who posts a "problem" simply because he's bored. He's no different in that sense from any other troll.
It would be poetic justice if every person who tried to help him in either thread clicked the obligatory
time-saver link
