How to install and run Canon DR-F120 scanner driver on wine

#1 Post by Deblib »

Hello, sane Canon DR-F120 scanner driver can't work completely
http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php? ... 0&start=15
So I have decided to come back to wine.
I had installed wine, winetricks and PlayOnLinux, some time ago, but I do not remember if they are configured or if they are misconfigured...
Now, I have tried installing that scanner driver by

Code: Select all

~$ wine DR-F120\ Driver\ V.1.0.11404.18001SP3/Setup.exe
The installer has started but at the end it says:
The wizard has been interrupted before completing the installation of Canon driver DR-F120. Your system has not been modified. To complete the installation on another occasion, re-run it.
I don't know if it has been installed and that is an installer error in Linux, or not, and if it is, I don't know how to run it. I have seen many websites that talk about wine but none help me. :(
I need a little help on this. Thanks!
