Error during boot

#1 Post by zodac11 »

During the boot (after grub) I receive these errors and do not know if they are to worry about or not. After these errors I am asked to enter the password for luks crypt and boot completes without much trouble:

[ 0.851944] platform MSFT0101:00: failed to claim resource 1
[ 0.852003] acpi MSFT0101:00: platform device creation failed: -16
WARNING: Failed to connect to lvmetad. Falling back to device scanning.

Is this on Debian system ?, and if it is what version ?
There are a lot of results on those error messages when I did
a search, without specifying the distro, because I did not know
for sure if it is even Debian.
Seems to be rather common on both Ubuntu and Linux Mint.

I did start to look through your profile, but the same , the most
recent posts do not even mention the Debian version, or if it is
Debian, I understand if maybe you are unable to do any searches,
but nobody can help you without specific details.
My internet connection is to slow to waste time trying search some ones profile, and figure out what version of the OS they are using. Sorry I can't be of more help.

This message is harmless. Isn't anything to worry about.
