Hi I am new to Debian. I have been using Linux Mint earlier. I use a concept map program (CmapTools) which comes as a .bin file. In Mint, I would usually install it using
chmod a+x name_of_file.bin & then ./name_of_file.bin to install the program. I did the same thing in Debian & the program installed all right.
However for running the program, I get an option to 'Run in Terminal' in Linux Mint but this option is not coming in Debien. Kindly let me know how to start the program to run in terminal!
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I've been poking around with a debian (kde) package called vym (view your mind) that sounds similar.kalyan wrote:Hi I am new to Debian. I have been using Linux Mint earlier. I use a concept map program (CmapTools)
