Can't enable alsa-utils.service

Postby ildgz » 2018-02-21 03:00

Hi, on Debian 9 (Stretch), i don't have sound after reboot. I "fixed" with alsactl restore. So I added in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf :
Code: Select all
options snd-hda-intel model=ALC269

'Cos
Code: Select all
cat /proc/asound/card*/codec* | grep Codec
Codec: Realtek ALC269VB
Codec: Intel PantherPoint HDMI

But, after rebooting, I have a failed start message.
Code: Select all
systemctl list-unit-files

Shows:
Code: Select all
UNIT FILE:alsa-utils.service STATE:masked

So, I did unmask and enable but don't works:
Code: Select all
sudo journalctl -u systemd-modules-load.service
-- Logs begin at Tue 2018-02-20 19:53:52 CST, end at Tue 2018-02-20 20:55:22 CST. --

Code: Select all
~$ sudo systemctl status alsa-utils.service
● alsa-utils.service
   Loaded: masked (/dev/null; bad)

Thanks a lot in advance!

This solved my ALSA issue: forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=53708&start=15 (big) mistake: I've installed PulseAudio alongside ALSA.
