Hey, guys. I've done some research and tried a few things so far and nothing has worked for me yet! My web cam in Skype is upside down, but is normal in Cheese. I'm running Debian Stretch.
I've tried:
-sudo apt-get install libv4l-0:i386
-sudo nano /usr/share/applications/skypeforlinux.desktop
-change line with exec to Exec=bash -c 'LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libv4l/v4l1compat.so skypeforlinux'
All of the articles I saw showed the same or a similar process.
