Hey there, I was wondering what would be the easiest and fastest way for someone brand new to Debian to install there GTX 970 drivers. I'm not exactly a Linux Guru when it comes to Debian so if anyone out there would be kind enough to walk me through step by step it would be very greatly appreciated as I am use to using Fedora. Thank you.
Also please forgive me if i posted in the wrong part of the site as im brand new to the Forums thanks.

Re: GTX 970 Drivers
Ah, the wiki. Still doesn't tell you to set up a module building environment. Follow the wiki but instead of step 2 do (as root):
That should also automatically install the needed linux-headers package.
I have a GTX970 and it works nicely.
Code: Select all
apt install module-assistant
m-a prepare
