I have looked at Verifying authenticity guides and don’t understand what I should do. It happens that I complicate simple things and I think that I do so here. What I need is a guide that tell me by example, step by step, how to verify that the images I download are correct. Something like a food receipt.

I’m doing this from Windows 10 Pro and have therefore no help from a Linux OP system.

Questions I have:
How and where do I put the original text?
How do I do the comparison?

Use a debian live cd/usb for awhile. You aren't making simple things complicated, you're learning complicated things, and it takes time. Good Luck.

If you take the hash sum of a file and your debian iso download is a file it gives
you are a unique string of numbers and letters for the hashed file.

If you downloaded the debian pc network installer on debian's website you get the hash sum here
cd/usb iso images -> network install -> http ftp -> multi arch

Run checksum utility
Browse to your debian iso
Select your debian iso

Paste the debian iso hashsum you got into the box in checksum utility.

Verify.
