Hi,
I am on Debian 9.5 which has GStreamer 1.10.4 installed.
Due to a bug in the gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad module, I want to replace it with a patched version built from source.
However, if I try to uninstall that package via e.g. Synaptic, it says that it can only proceed if I also
mark various other packages for removal, among which several related to gnome and others.
How can I perform the uninstall that module without removing all these necessary pacakges?
Thanks!
(PS: I uploaded an image in attach, but the attachment is not appearing?)
