Fake my OS for download purposes

Postby joshadamskhan » 2019-02-11 10:36

So I am currently running a linux network. However I have 1 or 2 windows machines that need to remain off the internet. What I want to do is download teamviewer for Windows. But it auto-detects that I am running on Linux and thus re-directs me to the Linux download.

What I would like to do is spoof my OS to be windows so Teamviewer will think I am running on windows and allow me to download the windows installer. Any ideas on how I can do this?

Or fake the useragent of your browser, consult your favourite search engine for the method.

On the download page select the OS (Windows) that you want to download for, there are many choices (Windows, Mac, Linux, ChromeOs, Android, IOS, Windows App and finally Blackberry)
