Is there something missing in my system?
Each time my system (Debian 9 + Cinnamon) starts, hplip (status service) complains that "No system tray detected on this system".
Debian 9.8, (x86-64), cinnamon 3.2.7, hplip 3.18.12 (from stretch-backports), dbus 1.10.26

Ah, the system tray applet is just not there by default.
One must just add it.

De-bugging is for sissies, real men do de-monstrations.
