A quick search using the term "debian buster Nvidia Geforce GT630" brought this up as the second result. First was the Debian wiki page about Nvidia.

Before install, which config file I need to create backup? If after install system can't boot into GUI then I can restore it to previous state.

Re: Install Nvidia VGA driver.
I suggested in my first post that you follow the Debian wiki, which tells you to install and use nvidia-detect. Before we answer any more of your questions that are answered in the wiki, please actually go there and read the entry.

Re: Install Nvidia VGA driver.
https://wiki.debian.org/BackupAndRecoveryI can't see anything about backup!!!
Because it is a different topic, so after reading some about it, if you feel you must do so,
start a new topic about making backups, which files to back up , etc.
================
If you had looked at and read the link, you would see:
From:https://packages.debian.org/buster/nvidia-detect
All that package is , is a script that checks your system, it then makes a recommendationThe 'nvidia-detect' script in this package checks for an NVIDIA GPU in the system and recommends one of the non-free accelerated driver meta-packages (nvidia-driver, nvidia-legacy-390xx-driver, or nvidia-legacy-340xx-driver) for installation.
about which one of packages should be installed. It does not install anything, and is not at all likely to harm your system.
If you do decide to install one, then yes you should make a good back up of your entire system, especially if it is all ready working OK, In fact it does not make sense to me why you would want to do this, assuming everything is working, but that also is another topic.
My advice is , if you have a working system, learn how to do some more practical things, like making good backups, before trying to experiment with this.

Re: Install Nvidia VGA driver.
Nvidia drivers don't depend on gvfs or openjdk afaik and nothing should be depending on backports (package with bpo in name) in a default system so you've messed up something else. I think your system is now broken. Good news is you can keep all the pieces and get a full refund.

Re: Install Nvidia VGA driver.
I guess it is because of my "source.list" problem. Can you look at http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php? ... 1&start=15?sunrat wrote:Nvidia drivers don't depend on gvfs or openjdk afaik and nothing should be depending on backports (package with bpo in name) in a default system so you've messed up something else. I did look at that thread, and responded. Also, please stop the unnecessary full quoting.
Please read this topic:http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=130997
If you do a fresh install, and use one of the Live CD's with non-free :
https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unof ... -firmware/
You will not need to do anything with your sources.list file, it will include links to the non-free, etc.
Also I suggest reading:

Re: Install Nvidia VGA driver.
Skype is not an open source application and it is not included in the Debian repositories.
And you have these:
Debian Stable is now Debian Buster, your sources.list is for Debian Stretch, you should not be doing that. Read this: https://wiki.debian.org/DontBreakDebian

To sum it up, I can not help you any more on this , or the other topic, what you have here is NOT a standard Debian system, but a mixture of things, some of them I would never install on my system. There are a few other threads, other members that insist they have to have Skype, and that is ok, but I can not help any further on this, maybe some one else will. Also this, is not Debian:
I don't know what it is, and don't really care.
If you re-install Debian, and use the current stable , Debian Buster, I would be happy to help, but the same not if you mix in all the propriety softawre, and stuff, it needs to be a clean system.
If you must have Skype, and things like that, it might be better for you to just use MS Windows, I don't think Debian is a good choice for you.

I installed "NVIDIA binary kernel module DKMS", but when I reboot my system and grub menu showed and Debian want to boot then my system beeped like when it is rebooted and the monitor turned off for 1 minute then logging windows showed. Is it normal?
