Re: CD ROM VALID RELEASE
Now that I read it again I see that you are correct.CwF wrote:...this is pre sources.list guys. Redo the install media, download again, re-burn, whatever.
Bad iso I bet.
Re: CD ROM VALID RELEASE
I've setup Debian 10.0.1 in a VM on my laptop. I'm using DVD1, DVD2 and DVD3 10.1.0-i386. When I run apt update I get an error message that says the repository source does not have a release file and using the repository is disabled. The iso files were last updated 2019-09-08 06:13
Do I need to download and install a key for each DVD ? If so, what files are needed and how do I install the key?
Is there an acceptable method to bypass the check?
Thanks,
Brian

Re: CD ROM VALID RELEASE
dump all the debs sorted how you like in a directory structure like pool/dists/buster/binary-i386/
Then install dpkg-dev, and from a terminal in that directory run
Add to your sources list
then apt-update, and continue
Then install dpkg-dev, and from a terminal in that directory run
Code: Select all
dpkg-scanpackages . /dev/null | gzip -9c > Packages.gz
Code: Select all
deb [trusted=yes] file:///pool/dists/buster/binary-i386/ ./
