How to change preinstalled Grub2 theme?

Postby Xeno Idaltu » 2020-01-20 03:50

I noticed that there are six preinstalled Grub themes in /usr/share/desktop-base

The default theme is Future-Prototype theme. I'd like to know how to choose one of the other themes.

Also, is there a good alternative to grub-emu to preview the Grub Theme without having to reboot the system? It looks like there used to be a program called Early Bird GRUB Manager but the links are dead:

The reason I don't like GRUB-Emu shows up a Blue-Backgrounded old styled GRUB Menu but Future-Prototype's wallpaper is what it shows up every time I boot my laptop.
