Cant configure my printer

#1 Post by KroniniD »

Hello everyone, I have problems configuring my printer, my computer has Debian buster 10.3 installed, my printer is an EPSON L380, try installing the script available in the repositories but the printer driver is not available, the one that appears is the one of the L385 which is not compatible with my printer, and the epson website requires LSB 3.2 but this is no longer in debian.
Can you help me with my problem.

Check here for your printer.

Some of us find system-config-printer is easier to use than CUPS. Your printer driver should already be loaded.

Printer manufacturers don't write a new driver from scratch with each new machine. They tune a well used driver. Frequently the drivers before and after yours on the list will work on your machine.
