Lenovo v145 screen freeze

#1 Post by Luomuplasmakana »

Hello!

So i am using the latest debian 10 on my lenovo v145 laptop. It is running ok but when i wanted to see a movie, picture goes lagging when fullscreening. Well then i have researched solution for this and ive got installed amdgpu drivers and cocecs and also tried vlc. Well the screen resolution did go better but now when i open firefox or any other program than terminal the screen will freeze and i cant do anything but press power button to get it rebooted.. please help i dont know what to do? I cant download the firmware fixes or amd catalyst because i cant enter firefox. Only got my phone now for info searching... After this ive tried desktopmate and also changing values at lid/power conf because after installing amdgpu drivers it said that could find some firmware and also this screenfreeze started after that. And also it says something about firmware and lid on reboot and also if i plug/unplug powercord it says that i removed another screendevice or something.
