Postby DanneA » 2020-04-11 11:34

What have I done? Not fun to bee "mr Green"...

dannea@debian:/home$ su -l
Password:
su: failed to execute --SHELL: No such file or directory
dannea@debian:/home$

I was playing around with an other account that I created and then I should take it away. It looks like I was deleting to much or???
I can still log in to my account as a user but is it impossible for me to go deeper in the system?

Please list the exact commands that you used.

Check /etc/passwd from the live environment (or by using init=/bin/bash as a kernel parameter) and confirm that root's stated login shell actually exists on your system. Also check /root/.profile
