Starting screen log

Postby sjsj » 2020-12-01 23:21

Hello,

Sorry, I speak a little English.

Where is the log file from starting screen?

Example:

[ OK ] Started Disk Manager.
[ OK ] Started GNOME Display Manager.

Please help me. Thanks!

If you have plymouth installed then those messages will be redirected to
Code: Select all
/var/log/boot.log

It should contain multiple boot times of log.

See https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Systemd/Journal

In Debian buster the logs are stored under /run/systemd/journal/ unless you create /var/log/journal/ (for persistent storage) or edit /etc/systemd/journald.conf
