launcher starts lxterminal stop it from closing again

In desktop right click pcmouse. Select create launcher. If you select application
in terminal, enter a launcher name and a command. For instance
sudo apt update then lxterminal will start and run the command and then close lxterminal. How
do you write a command such that lxterminal does not close after running
the command?
